- If I don't have much respect for my body and health or I'm stuck in the "fat" mentality, then I won't stick to a good diet. The key isn't to go from 0 to 100 (from eating fast food regularly to becoming vegetarian, for example). The mind cannot make such a huge switch in a short amount of time due to all the patterns one has developed over the years. Again, psychology 101. So simple yet so many get it wrong. Start living for your purpose, to help others, and to give. Yes, you can still want the Audi R8 and collection of motorcycles like I do. But those are just things and they won’t truly make you happy. “Things” will be the by product of living a purpose filled life.
I used to do a lot of work helping people to stop smoking. There are only 2 reasons people don’t stop smoking. One, because they don’t want to (often this is subconscious) Two, because they don’t believe it’s possible. Or they assume it will be incredibly difficult and painful, and they can’t do it without suffering forever. (Again, this is often subconscious and it is a flawed assumption).
People who have the luck factor clearly understand that preparation is the key to long-term acceleration. By preparing thoroughly they are able to better identify possible patterns, trends, and events that may take place as a result of their decisions and actions. This naturally enables them to work faster and smarter as they move towards the attainment of their goals and objectives.
I kept hearing about this book. I expected it to be a new age, wish on a star book. But, it was a good read. It reminded me that, at least to some extent, we do create our own reality by the attitude we project. If we are a grump, we attract other grumps, not happy persons, to us. And so on. It is a quick read, a fun read, lots of white space, easy to understand and assimilate, no high psychology words, no mumbo jumbo. Good illustrations. Definitely written for the layman. I've also seen Losier's videos and they are more of the same.

Surround yourself with lucky people. The people you hang out with have an influence on your outlook toward life. They have an effect on what you do and how you think and feel. Be with like-minded people who are doing what you want to be doing. Emotions are contagious. If you hang out with negative people who always complain and whine about their life and who are generally not very lucky, chances are you will soon be down on your luck. Make a conscious effort to spend time with people who have a positive outlook on life.
Show gratitude. Write down all the things the Universe has given you. Be thankful for what you already have and be thankful for all the things the Universe has given you. The Universe has done a lot of things for us. Paying the Universe back with some gratitude will motivate the Universe to do even more things and will draw more things into your life. If you were once bullied and that person stopped, that's one thing to be thankful for. If the person you're crushing on likes you back, or doesn't but they didn't send their lover out to hurt you, that's another thing to thank the Universe for. You should also thank the Universe for this process too. Showing gratitude will turbo boost the Universe to manifest your request faster.
At this point, you may still remain unconvinced that this universal principle — which attracts like to like — still seems interwoven in magic and, therefore, unreal. Perhaps it’s because we’re talking about intangible concepts like thoughts and feelings. At least with gravity, an apple thrown up into the air falls onto the ground.
